By car:

M5 South bound: (from Bristol 35mins drive time) Take Junction 21. Turn Right to Weston-super-Mare. At second roundabout turn left for Banwell & Cheddar A371. Turn Right on A38 at Winscombe and left onto A371 by-pass signposted Wells. Ignore left turn into Axbridge. *

M5 North bound: Take Junction 22 Burnham-on-Sea and follow A38 to Cross. Turn right onto A371 to Wells, avoiding Axbridge town centre, join the by-pass. *

   
                 
  * From the A371 Axbridge by-pass: Upon entering the 40mph zone take the slip road into Axbridge. At the bottom of the slip road immediately on the left hand side and opposite the bus stop is a small lane, parallel to the slip road. Strawberry Line B & B is at the end of this lane.    
Train and Bus: Great Western Trains stop at Weston-super-Mare. First Direct Bus 126 runs a service from Weston to Wells through Axbridge. There is a bus stop within 50yds of us. Please ask for Barnabas Road stop.  
   
Bristol Airport is just 15 mins travel time from Axbridge. There is a car hire service from the airport for arriving travellers. For those wishing to plan onward travel from here we can arrange Taxis and car parking.  
By Cycle: Route 26 Cycle route - Strawberry Line Railway Path, runs within 50yds of our Accommodation. Secure cycle storage available. See Sustrans for further information on cycling
   
                         
  Axbridge Medieval Town famous for the King Hunting Lodge, medieval streets, Town Square, Farmer's Markets and St John the Baptist Church. There are places to eat, wonderful walks and so much more. Close by is the well known Cheddar Reservoir & home of the Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club. We overlook this fabulous facility, the entrance is just 2 minutes from us with a wonderfully breathtaking 2.4mile walk around it's perimeter with outstanding views of the Mendip Hills, Axbridge Town and the Somerset Levels.    
Cheddar Gorge, world famous heritage site is a pleasant walk from our front door along the Strawberry Line Railway path and Cheddar Town, or just 5 minutes drive. With the spectacular Cheddar Caves and visitor centre, wide variety of shops and cafes waiting to tempt you.  
  Just 20 minutes drive, following the Mendip Hills finds you in the Historic City of Wells, renowned world wide for it's Cathedral and surrounding Heritage sites. Wells has been used for many film locations including recently, Hot Fuzz.  
 
 
Just 10 minutes further on and you arrive in Glastonbury. The Tor can be seen as you walk around the Cheddar Reservoir.
